Idoko Nnaedozie George

Idoko Nnaedozie George is the Founder and CEO of Solaristique Nigeria, a clean-tech enterprise pioneering affordable solar-powered cold storage and energy access solutions across Africa. He holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he graduated as the Best Student of his department.  

 

With over seven years of experience in sustainable innovation, agritech, and business development, Idoko has designed impactful solutions addressing food waste, poor energy access, and climate change.

 

Under his leadership, Solaristique has created 15 direct and over 200 indirect jobs, provided cold storage access to more than 7,000 people, reduced over 10,000 tonnes of food waste, and offset 12,500 tonnes of carbon emissions.  He is a recipient of global recognitions, including the NASDAQ Milestone Maker (2024) and Generation Africa Fellow (Bayer & AGRA)2023.  

 

Motivated by the urgency of Africa’s energy and food security challenges, Idoko aims to leverage CIE 2026 to engage policymakers, investors, and strategic partners to support the smooth introduction of Solaristique’s solar cold storage and solar-as-a-service solutions into Cabo Verde.
