Murielle Bissek

Project Manager - Specialization in France
Yaoundé, Cameroon

Murielle Teguel Bissek is an architect with a master's degree in Economics, Law, and Project Development, specializing in Development Economics. She has over 10 years of experience designing and implementing innovative local development strategies. At FEICOM, Cameroon's local development financing institution, she led several flagship projects focusing on innovation, spatial planning, and fiscal resource mobilization to strengthen municipal capacities.

 

She currently serves as project leader of the Cameroon Urban Platform (PUC), implemented by Expertise France and funded by the European Union. In this role, she coordinates multi-stakeholder efforts to modernize urban governance, promote digital transformation, and foster local innovation ecosystems. Her expertise spans urban governance, local public finance, digital tools for territorial management, and participatory planning.

 

Murielle has contributed to important institutional reforms and pilot projects in Cameroon and is passionate about building bridges between technical solutions and the real needs of communities. She actively promotes the use of geospatial data for local decision-making and the scaling of community-based innovations across Africa. At CIE 2025, she will contribute to discussions on the energy transition through the lens of integrated urban planning, data-driven governance, and inclusive digital tools.
