Senegalese, Ing. in Statistics, Energy and sustainable development Economist, specialist in Project management and in Bank and Finance Energy Efficiency Expert,Actual Director general of the national energy efficiency agency of Senegal (AEME) since June 2024 where I have been since 2013 Director of planning and studies.I have coordinated most important and detailed studies for the definition of energy efficiency strategies, programs and action plans in Senegal for the whole energy sector that serves today as reference for Senegal. I have conducted some pilot programs for demonstration and work also on energy efficiency financial mechanism for Senegal.

 

I have been trainer in many training programs at national, regional and international level on energy efficiency issues, particularly with IFDD.Energy efficiency expert of the UNFCCC Roster, I work a lot on energy, climate change and sustainable development issues.

 

Before joining the energy efficiency agency, I have been lucky to work at the Senegalese power utility (Senelec) for about 10 years, first as engineer in statistics in charge of energy demand modeling and forecast and later as expert in demand side management.
